I thank God every day I am not a student of Dr. Cargill. As he is a humanist it is obvious why he would like the new Noah movie. He sees the Bible as just a book and Jesus as some historical character. After listening to this it is obvious he sees God as a myth as well. I always ask the question why someone like this would teach religious studies. His criticism of conservative Christians. His comments about “as a good scholar he does not seek to indoctrinate his students, but nothing can be further from the truth. He seeks to discredit believers as kooks who believe in myths. Dr. Cargill obviously is on a mission to place God in the same category as Zeus and other Greek gods. If I were a biblically grounded parent I would make sure my kids avoided Dr. Cargill’s corrupting influence of the Christians faith.
